Pinterest Baby Nursery/Bedroom

Recently I've been on pinterest pinning all kinds of baby things, but one thing I'm most excited for is he or she's bedroom/nursery. I'm only 18 weeks so we haven't found out whether little one is a boy or girl so I've been gathering inspiration for both. I really want to be creative and have some part in making bits and bobs where I can. Not only would this save money it's also a nice thing to do. One of my favourite pictures here is the little den (bottom second from the left) I've been trying to think of things I wanted when I was little and put these thoughts in.

You can follow my pinterest here where I regularly pin baby bits.

How would you want your babies nursery to be?

Week 17 Pregnancy Update

How far along? 17 weeks.

What happened this week? This week is probably the first week I actually felt back to myself, don't get me wrong I had the odd couple of days where I felt sick....(still!) but other than that this week has been great.

Maternity clothes? Still no maternity clothes due to the fact I haven't felt like I needed to buy them however I do have my eye on a pair of Topshop jeans which will probably be purchased in the next couple of weeks.

Stretch marks? Nope! ...phew!

Sleep: Sleep has been fine, i've not really woken up at all this week like I have in the past few weeks. I've been using my pregnancy pillow lots. I shall do a review on that soon!

Best moment this week: I've felt very happy, and felt plenty of flutters. Patiently awaiting his or hers first kick!

Miss anything? Not really still the smell of cooking but nothing new.

Movement: Flutters again!

Food cravings: I have had cravings for ice pops! The ones they sell at room temperature & then you take them home to freeze. I love them, not sure they're the healthiest thing though!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing new.

Gender: Not sure yet!

Labor signs: No.

Symptoms: No major symptoms, slight bit of nausea.

Belly button in or out? In!

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy this week.

Week 16 Pregnancy Update

How far along? 16 weeks.

What happened this week? This week wasn't a brilliant week for me, I've had a water infection which I know is quite common during pregnancy so I've been on antibiotics. My morning sickness I experienced a lot in the first trimester has striked 3 days this week so it hasn't completely said goodbye but I cannot wait until it does!

Maternity clothes? Nope not yet, bought some non-wired bras a couple of weeks ago, but it won't be long until needing a bigger size.

Stretch marks? No stretch marks as of yet although I have been applying Bio-oil so hopefully this helps.

Sleep: Sleep has been on & off this week, getting to sleep isn't the problem however waking up during the night is and has happened three times most nights.

Best moment this week: Getting the most of sleeping lots now, also I have felt tiny-little-barely-feel-them-flutters which excites me a lot and makes the bad parts all worth while.

Miss anything? I do miss salmon & cream cheese sandwiches!

Movement: As I said in my best moment of the week I felt tiny flutters but nothing big.

Food cravings: Not really.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Just generally the smell of food cooking.

Gender: We don't know for sure until 20 weeks but I have a tiny inkling that It might be a girl but obviously I have no idea, Paul also thinks its a girl.

Labor signs: No.

Symptoms: Breasts are pretty tender, feeling like I have a lot more energy now! Which is really good. Like I already added above I've been feeling sick still & I've felt quite constripated (TMI, sorry!)

Belly button in or out? In!

Happy or moody most of the time: This week has been a bit of both, I've been quite hormonal.

Looking forward to: My 20 week scan! Can't wait to find out the gender!
